It may not be Napa, but the Connecticut Wine Trail has a lot to offer when it comes to weekend fun. My bestie Liz and I had the most lovely day at White Silo Winery this past Sunday. We had a leisurely top-down drive there (hence the Jeep-hair taming floppy hat), where we were rewarded with a tasting, lunch and dessert consisting of chocolate with prosecco. And they have the best fruit wines (my particular favorite is the rhubarb). For an all-around sampling of what the state has to offer, next weekend's Shoreline Wine Festival at Bishop's Orchards will have a smorgasbord of sips. My mom and I went last year and had an absolute blast. Cheers!

That sounds so fun! If only I liked wine, haha. But I would go for the views! :)
