Thursday Mackenzie and I drove up to Portland to see the Portland Head Lighthouse on Cape Elizabeth. It has been overlooking Maine's shores since before the Revolutionary War, and is touted as New England's most painted and photographed lighthouse. With picturesque views from every angle, it's easy to see why. One of my favorite adventures of the trip, we had a great time exploring, people-watching and snapping pictures while dodging random photo-bombers. And I'm glad we were able to help maintain its status as most-photographed.
