Head to Toe: Dress, Marni via Rent the Runway // Turban, &OtherStories // Boots, Thursday Boots // Necklace, Slate (via Rocksbox)
Here's New England for you: Just when you're starting to see glimpses of spring, you get slammed with a Nor'Easter. Thankfully, NYC wasn't hit too badly with this week's storm, but just enough to make our commutes a pain and to leave behind a frosty chill. Yesterday, I was invited to a lunch to celebrate Martha Stewart's new book, Martha's Flowers, and while I wanted to be springlike in honor of the event, this sweater dress had to do. The dress turned out to be a hit, and I had a lovely afternoon listening to Martha talk about gardens. I think I'll pick up some fresh cut blooms on my way home today, since it doesn't look like anything's going to peek up through the snow just yet.
That dress is so fun! I love the bold print!
ReplyDeleteAnd that sounds like such a fun event! I'd love to sit and listen to Martha!!

That dress is so fun, and I love the vintage vibe with the turban. It must have been fun to meet Martha!

It's been rough, with the cold and the snow! Luckily we didn't get hit with snow at all here in DC but it's been hard to shoot spring-like outfit posts when it's so cold and windy out.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit - that dress is perfect!
