New Camera! First Photoshoot

Head to Toe: Tank, American Eagle; Poncho, Joyce Leslie; Jeans, Thrifted; Sandals, Strawberry; Headband, Charlotte Russe.
 
One thing that the opening of June meant for me was the end of my shopping fast! I successfully completed my six-week no shop challenge. I promised myself that if I held up to it I would get myself the new camera I've been pining for. And, I did! I took the plunge and bought the Nikon D3100. Mackenzie agreed to take my photos for my first photo-shoot on the new camera, so here I am posing with my old, trusty Pentax. I'm so happy I finally went for it and have only scratched the surface of the things it can do. I'm sure I'll be flexing my photography muscles on here pretty soon but I have to give my man props for a job well done.
